Plant search
There are several ways to use the Garden Explorer: If you already have a certain plant species in mind type the English, Icelandic or Latin name in the box "Common or scientific name" and click on "SEARCH". If we have it in our collection, the map will show you where it is located. You can also use the Garden Explorer to search our collection by genus, family or origin of the plant. If you have already visited out garden and seen an interesting plant but forgotten its name you have the option of searching the garden by area. You can find a map of the garden and its areas on the right side of the screen. It is not neccessary to fill in all the boxes, just write what you know and hit "SEARCH".
